Panorama-dai is a breathtaking spot located on the eastern side of Lake Yamanaka, offering stunning panoramic views of the majestic Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka.
From the spacious observation deck, you can simultaneously gaze upon the azure waters of Lake Yamanaka stretching out before you and the towering Mount Fuji beyond.
On a clear day, you can see not only Mount Fuji but also the Southern Alps mountain range, truly enjoying a panoramic view.
This observation deck is situated along the prefectural road leading from Lake Yamanaka to Mikuni Pass, making it an ideal rest stop during a drive.
Please note that parking is limited, so be mindful of potential congestion.
At sunset, Mount Fuji is bathed in the setting sun, creating a magical scene of orange hues.
In autumn, the area is covered in swaying Japanese pampas grass, creating a breathtaking golden carpet. Taking a stroll through this pampas grass field is highly recommended to enjoy the autumnal atmosphere.
