Kiyoharu Art Colony is an art and culture complex located in Nagasaka-cho, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Surrounded by nature, you can enjoy museums, ateliers, tea rooms, libraries, and more. Kiyoharu Art Colony has deep ties to the Shirakaba-ha writers, inheriting their philosophy and culture. The Kiyoharu Shirakaba Museum exhibits works and materials from the Shirakaba-ha writers, allowing visitors to experience their philosophy and culture. At the Tadao Ando Museum of Light, you can enjoy the beautiful interplay of light and shadow in a unique space designed by Tadao Ando. Kiyoharu Art Colony also boasts many other attractive facilities, including the "Rouault Chapel" designed by Yoshiyuki Tanguchi, the "Tea Room Tetsu" designed by Terunobu Fujimori, and "Sutsunadefu stove," a restaurant housed in a relocated residence of Isamu Kobayashi.
