Tennoji Zoo, established on January 1, 1915, boasts a rich history spanning over 110 years. Spanning a vast area of approximately 11 hectares, the zoo currently houses around 1,000 animals of about 170 different species.

- To see the most active animal displays, try to complete your tour before 3:00 PM.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes to enjoy exploring the expansive zoo grounds.
