Tottori Hanakairo is one of Japan's largest and most spectacular flower parks, located in Nanbu Town, Tottori Prefecture. The vast grounds are filled with a diverse variety of plants that change their appearance with every season, offering a unique landscape every time you visit. The most distinctive feature is the massive covered corridor that runs through the park. Please note that opening hours vary significantly depending on the season. From April to November, the park is open from 09:00 to 17:00 (last entry at 16:30). During the winter months of December and January, the hours shift to a night-viewing schedule from 13:00 to 21:00. From February to March, the hours are 09:00 to 16:30 (last entry at 16:00). It is highly recommended to check the official schedule before your visit as hours change by month. Additionally, please note that the park is closed on Tuesdays during July and August.
The primary way to enjoy the park is by strolling through the vast botanical landscapes. The covered corridor provides an excellent environment for observing the intricate details, colors, and shapes of the seasonal flowers up close without worrying about the weather. Due to the vast size of the park, we highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. While the covered corridor provides shelter, it is wise to dress according to the weather. Parking is available for free. Admission fees vary depending on the season and time of day, so please check the local signage or official website for the most current information.
