However, since some animals may become less active or move to sheltered areas after 3:00 PM, we recommend scheduling your visit to the major exhibits during the earlier part of the day.

Because the zoo grounds are quite large, we highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. Please observe the following rules:

• Payment: Cash and credit cards are accepted for ticket purchases.
• Language Support: English signage and an English website are available.
• Reservations: No prior reservation is required for general visits or school trips.
• Photography: Photography from paths is allowed, but the use of flash, strobes, or reflectors directed at animals is strictly prohibited. Please be mindful of other visitors when taking photos.
• Prohibited Items: Dangerous goods, balls, balloons, bubbles, skateboards, and wheeled toys (excluding strollers and wheelchairs) are not allowed.
• Pets: Pets are not permitted (except for service dogs).
• Smoking & Alcohol: The entire zoo is a non-smoking area. Bringing alcohol or entering the zoo under the influence is prohibited.
• Accessibility: Wheelchairs are available at the Shinsekai Gate and Tenshiba Gate; no prior reservation is needed.
