Known as the 'West Koya,' this ancient temple is where Kobo Daishi practiced ascetic training.
Tairyuji is the 21st temple of the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, situated near the 618-meter summit in Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture. Often referred to as the 'West Koya,' it has long welcomed ascetics and pilgrims.
