Hamamatsu City Zoo is a nature-rich zoo located on the shores of Lake Hamana in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The zoo houses over 80 different species of animals, and its primate (monkey) exhibit is one of the largest and most significant in Japan.
