While the daytime can be pleasantly warm during the spring, temperatures often drop in the mornings and evenings; we recommend bringing layers to adjust to the temperature. Since specific events like the "mochi-maki" (rice cake tossing) occur at set times, it is highly recommended to check the official schedule in advance to avoid missing the action.
