Kakegawa Kachoen, opened in 2003, is an all-weather theme park themed around "Encountering Flowers and Birds." Approximately 600 birds of about 100 species live freely in the vast greenhouse and outdoor areas. Inside the greenhouse, tropical water lilies and other flowers bloom year-round, captivating visitors. The daily bird show features owls and hawks performing amazing stunts. The feeding experience allows you to feed the birds directly from your hand, providing enjoyment for both children and adults. In recent years, the shoebill stork named "Futaba" has gained popularity. Its unique appearance has attracted many fans, and merchandise is also popular. The park is designed to be barrier-free, so you can enjoy it safely with strollers or wheelchairs.
