Lake Aoki

Overview

Lake Aoki is located in northern Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture. It's the northernmost and largest of the three lakes known as the Nikkōsan-ko. The lake boasts incredibly clear water, offering spectacular views in harmony with the surrounding mountains. Autumn's foliage is especially captivating, with reds and yellows reflected beautifully on the lake's surface, drawing many visitors. Spring's cherry blossom season paints a magical scene as blossoms bloom along the lakeshore, their reflections creating a dreamlike atmosphere. Lake Aoki offers a wealth of leisure activities, including campgrounds, boat rentals, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), allowing you to fully immerse yourself in nature.
