Ozawa's Single Cherry Blossom Tree is a Someiyoshino cherry tree, approximately 100 years old, located in Funabiki-Ohiryo, Funabiki-machi, Tamura City, Fukushima Prefecture. Situated at the top of a terraced rice paddy, its beauty is enhanced by the backdrop of the blue sky and distant mountains. It's famously known as a filming location for the movie 'Hatsukoi'. In 'Hatsukoi,' this cherry tree appears as the 'Wishing Cherry Tree,' and scenes such as the final cherry blossom viewing were filmed here. A small shrine and a Jizo statue (a type of Buddhist stone statue) stand beside the cherry tree, with Mount Utsu-ga-take visible in the distance. The surrounding area evokes a nostalgic, old-fashioned Japanese landscape. Every spring, many people visit to admire the cherry blossoms, creating a lively atmosphere.
