Hanayagura Observatory is known as one of the best viewpoints in Yoshino Mountain. The breathtaking view of cherry blossoms stretching out below is truly awe-inspiring, making you feel as if you've stepped into a painting. Especially during cherry blossom season, the mountainside explodes with a vibrant pink carpet of blossoms, a sight of unparalleled beauty. On a clear day, you can enjoy a panoramic view that extends to Kongo-san, a mountain on the border of Nara and Osaka prefectures. Kongo-san stands at 1,125 meters above sea level, and its majestic form is clearly visible from the Hanayagura Observatory. Hanayagura Observatory allows you to experience the grandeur of nature while also immersing yourself in the history of Yoshino Mountain. With beautiful scenery throughout the year, from cherry blossoms in spring to autumn foliage, it's a place you'll want to visit again and again. There's also a small, free parking area near the observatory that can accommodate a few cars. However, please be aware that the surrounding roads are narrow with steep slopes and sharp curves, so please exercise caution and pay close attention to pedestrians when driving.
