Mukabaki Falls, located in Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture, is an awe-inspiring spectacle, a roughly 100-meter-high waterfall selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls. The falls are accessible as part of a hiking trail up Mount Mukabaki, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of nature while hiking. The trail is well-maintained, making it suitable for beginners. Along the way, you'll encounter diverse scenery featuring giant and unusual rock formations. Upon reaching the falls, you'll be overwhelmed by their power. Mount Mukabaki, also a site of long-standing reverence, is also linked to the legends of Yamato Takeru. Mount Mukabaki, standing at 608 meters, offers panoramic views of Nobeoka City from its summit.
