Shiranoe Botanical Garden, formerly known as "四季の丘" (Shiki no Oka, meaning "Four Seasons Hill"), opened in 1996 as the Kitakyushu Municipal Shiranoe Botanical Garden. Located atop a gentle hill, the garden offers stunning scenery with approximately 700 cherry trees and a vibrant display of seasonal flowers. Spring showcases a dazzling array of cherry blossoms, including Someiyoshino, Yamazakura, and Shidarezakura, painting the garden in shades of pink.
