In spring, the delicate *miyamasirisuma* flowers paint the mountainside in a breathtaking display of pink and reddish-purple hues. Known as a representative flower of Unzen, the *miyamasirisuma* is in full bloom from mid-to-late May.

A ropeway runs from Nita-toge to the summit of Myoken-dake, offering a fantastic aerial view. The scenery visible from the ropeway windows provides a unique and unforgettable experience; the ride takes about 3 minutes one way.
The Myoken-dake summit has an observation deck providing a 360-degree panoramic view.
The area around Nita-toge also boasts various attractions, including an onsen (hot spring) town and Unzen Jigoku (Unzen Hell).
