Minatoyama Park

Overview

Minatoyama Park is located in the center of Yonago City, developed on the site of the former Yonago Castle. Approximately 300 cherry trees are planted here, and in spring, various types of cherry blossoms, including Someiyoshino and weeping cherry trees, burst into bloom, painting the entire park in a beautiful pink hue. The cherry blossom tunnel, in particular, creates a magical atmosphere that captivates many visitors. Even outside of cherry blossom season, the lush greenery makes it a beloved resting place for citizens. Within the park, you'll find a museum showcasing the history of Yonago Castle, a playground, a grassy area, and more, making it enjoyable for families with children.
