Overview

ARTIZON Museum is located in Kyobashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. Formerly known as the Bridgestone Museum of Art, it's renowned for its Impressionist collection. Opened in 1952, it initially displayed Impressionist paintings collected by Tokuichiro Ishibash, the founder of Bridgestone Tire Company. The collection has since expanded significantly to encompass Western art, Japanese art, and contemporary art.
