Access: Take the Kobe City Bus No. 25 bound for "Shinrin Shokubutsuen" from Sannomiya Station on the JR Kobe Line. It's a 27-minute ride, and you'll get off at "Futatabi Koen" and it's a short walk from there (Operates only on weekends and holidays from April to November). Alternatively, take Kobe City Bus No. 7 from Sannomiya Station on the JR Kobe Line. Get off at "Suwayama Koen-shita" after a 10-minute ride, and then enjoy a 1.5-hour hike. Show route

Futatabi Park is a vast park nestled in the lush nature of the mid-slopes of Mount Rokko. The park's origins lie in reforestation efforts undertaken in the mid-Meiji era to restore the deforested northern summit area of Mount Rokko. Opened in 1937, it is now a nationally designated Place of Scenic Beauty. The park features Shuhogahara Pond, a large pond whose shores are known as one of the best spots in the Rokko mountain range to view autumn leaves. In spring, azaleas bloom in profusion, creating a breathtaking spectacle of pink blossoms.
