Access: ＜By Train＞ Approximately 10-minute walk from the south exit of Kaihin-Makuhari Station on the JR Keiyo Line. ＜By Car＞ (From Tokyo): Exit the Tokyo-Wangan Expressway at the Wangan-Narashino IC, continue straight on National Route 357, turn right at the Nakase intersection, and then left at the Messe intersection. (From Chiba): Exit the Tokyo-Wangan Expressway at the Wangan-Chiba IC, continue straight on National Route 357, turn left at the Wakaba intersection, and then right at the Hibino 2-chome intersection. Overview

Mihamaen is a Japanese garden located in Makuhari Seaside Park in Mihama Ward, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. Designed as a stroll-type pond garden, it depicts mountains, rivers, seas, and forests, offering breathtaking seasonal beauty. The highlight of Mihamaen is undoubtedly its stunning scenery. Colorful carp gracefully swim in the pond, their elegant movements sure to soothe and delight visitors. The garden also boasts "Shōraitei," an authentic Sukiya-style teahouse where you can savor matcha (powdered green tea) and traditional Japanese sweets (wagashi). The view of the garden from Shōraitei is truly exceptional. Mihamaen also hosts events celebrating Japanese culture, such as koto (Japanese harp) concerts and guided tours of the garden and teahouse. This is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some quiet time. We highly recommend a visit.
