The Ashizuri Sunny Road is a scenic 23km-long road along National Route 321, connecting Otsu in Tosa-Shimizu City, Kochi Prefecture, to Kanazaki in Ohchi District, Otsuki Town.
It forms part of the route to Ashizuri Cape, the southernmost point of Shikoku, and boasts magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean.
The dramatic rock formations along the coast, especially from Ryugu Coast to Kanazaki, are truly awe-inspiring and showcase the raw power of nature.
Along the way, you'll find many highlights, including the pristine white sands of Ogi Coast and Ryugu Coast, with its sea caves and unusual rock formations.
