The Kiso Sansen Park Center is a sprawling park nestled amidst the three rivers: Kiso, Nagara, and Ibi. These rivers have been vital to the lives of people for generations, and the park offers facilities to learn about their history and culture. The Water and Green Museum uses videos, models, and panels to explain the history of flood control and the ecosystem of the Kiso Three Rivers in an easy-to-understand manner. The museum showcases valuable materials on the history of flood control, from Edo-period techniques to modern dam construction. It also features specimens of fish, birds, and plants inhabiting the Kiso Three Rivers, making it an ideal learning spot for children. A 65-meter-high observation tower provides panoramic views of the Kiso Three Rivers and the surrounding area. The sunset view, in particular, is breathtaking, as the setting sun paints the rivers in stunning colors. A cafe and restaurant near the observation tower allow you to enjoy the scenery while dining. The park features large flower gardens bursting with seasonal blooms. From tulips in spring to sunflowers in summer and cosmos in autumn, the beautiful scenery changes throughout the year. Seasonal flower events are also held in the gardens, offering the chance to enjoy music and dance amid the blossoms.
