Fuefukagawa Fruit Park is a sprawling municipal park nestled in the abundant natural beauty of Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Designed around the theme of "Park of Flowers, Fruits, and Wine," it offers a stunning array of blossoms and fruits throughout the year. Spring showcases cherry blossoms and tulips, summer bursts with grapes and peaches, and autumn paints the landscape with vibrant foliage. The park features an extensive orchard showcasing peaches and grapes—varieties known as "Koshu Hachi Jinkka" in the Edo period and still cultivated locally—offering a close-up look at these plants and their fruit. Children will love the plentiful playground equipment, including an aqua-athletic area with flowing water and a "Wanpaku Dome" (play dome) for rainy days. In addition to restaurants and cafes, there are also kitchens and workshops available for group bookings (reservations required), providing enjoyment for all ages. From various points across the park's open spaces and varying elevations, you can enjoy panoramic views of the mountains, including Mount Otsubo, the Kofu Basin, and even Mount Fuji on a clear day. The nighttime scenery, certified as one of Japan's New Three Great Night Views, is truly breathtaking, especially when viewed slowly as twilight descends. The park also offers fruit picking and wine tasting, appealing to adults as well. Nearby attractions include hot springs and wineries.
