Taiko Bridge is a bridge located in Kita-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, and is known as the gateway to Arima Onsen. Built in the Edo period, it's surrounded by historical sites related to Toyotomi Hideyoshi and a charming onsen town. Taiko Bridge is not only an access point to Arima Onsen but also an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding area. From the bridge, you can enjoy the sounds of the Arima River, the lush mountains, and the cityscape of the onsen town, offering beautiful seasonal views. The bridge's railings are adorned with Paulownia crests and gourds, reflecting the legend that Toyotomi Hideyoshi crossed this very bridge during his visits to Arima Onsen.
