Namba Grand Kagetsu is a comedy and theatrical performance hall in Osaka Minami's bustling entertainment district, operated by Yoshimoto Kogyo. Opened in 1987, it's a beloved "Hall of Laughter" that continues to entertain audiences. The theater boasts a retro design, exuding the charm of old Japan. Daily performances showcase a vibrant cast, from established stars to rising comedians, providing non-stop laughs. The Yoshimoto Shin-Kigeki is particularly recommended for a taste of Osaka's unique brand of humor. With weekly new shows, there's always something fresh to enjoy. Beyond the theater, the building also houses a variety of shops selling Osaka souvenirs and restaurants, such as "Hana no Ren TULLY'S Coffee," a takoyaki (octopus balls) stand run by Yoshimoto comedians called "Yoshitako," and the "Yoshimoto Entertainment Shop" with official merchandise. Of course, the surrounding area also offers plenty of delicious food and attractions. Be sure to stop by when visiting Osaka Minami.
