It's a 15-minute taxi ride from Shinonoi Station on the JR Shinonoi Line (approximately ¥2000). Walking is possible, but it's uphill, so a car might be preferable. We accessed it from the north exit this time. A monorail (¥100 one-way) offers stunning views of Zenkoji-dai while taking you to the zoo entrance. The monorail station was fun for kids, with displays of miniature trains (plaレール) and butterfly specimens. Show route
