Now, it aims to create a garden that harmonizes with the climate of Asahikawa, Hokkaido, and calls itself a "Hokkaido Garden." Asahikawa's climate is characterized by a lack of rainy season, dryness, little wind, and significant temperature differences. This climate is said to make the flower colors particularly beautiful. The extensive grounds are full of highlights, including a mirror border overflowing with colorful flowers and a gnome garden. Ueno Farm holds various events throughout the year. Besides flower-themed events like the spring tulip festival and summer lavender festival, they also host gardening classes and workshops.
