Sunflower Hill Park

Overview

Sunflower Hill Park is a multi-purpose park in Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture, boasting approximately 80,000 square meters of space. In summer, around 100,000 sunflowers bloom, painting the landscape in a golden hue. The park also features large playground equipment, a Western-style garden, restaurants, and shops, ensuring a full day of enjoyment. The sunflower fields are the park's main attraction. However, the peak bloom is relatively early, from late June to early July, and they are often harvested by mid-summer, so timing your visit is crucial. Other seasonal flowers add to the beauty, including lotus and rapeseed flowers in spring, and cosmos in autumn. The park also features a 20-meter-tall "Sunflower Tower," a symbol of Ono City. It's illuminated at night, creating a magical atmosphere. Sunflower Hill Park is a highly recommended spot for families and couples. Don't miss the chance to experience the beauty of the sunflower fields! Access: Approximately 8km south on National Route 175 from the Takinoya-sha Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway (turn left). Approximately 7km north on National Route 175 from the Miki-Ono Interchange on the Sanyo Expressway (turn right).
