Hanamomo no Sato, located in Higashi-Chichibu Village, Chichibu District, Saitama Prefecture, is a stunning spring destination boasting approximately 3,000 hanamomo trees in full bloom. Hanamomo are deciduous, small to medium-sized trees belonging to the Rosaceae family and Prunus genus, originating in China. They are believed to have been introduced to Japan during the Edo period. Unlike fruit-bearing peach trees, hanamomo are cultivated solely for their ornamental blossoms. The hanamomo trees at Hanamomo no Sato reach their peak bloom from late March to early April.
