Emerald Beach, located in Ocean Expo Park in Motobu Town, Okinawa Prefecture, is aptly named for its stunning emerald green waters and pristine white sand. Its water quality is rated "AA" (the best possible), and it's been selected for both the "88 Best Bathing Beaches" and the "100 Best Bathing Beaches", making it a safe and beautiful place to swim. Okinawa's northern main island, influenced by the Kuroshio Current, enjoys warm temperatures and exceptionally clear waters, resulting in numerous beautiful beaches. Emerald Beach is one such gem, where the crystal-clear waters allow you to observe vibrant marine life, including tropical fish and coral reefs. Snorkeling and diving are highly recommended. The area surrounding the beach also offers many attractions, including the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and the Tropical Dream Center. The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is home to a variety of marine life, including some of the world's largest whale sharks and manta rays. The Tropical Dream Center is a botanical garden showcasing tropical plants and flowers. Emerald Beach is a fantastic spot for a full day of fun, combining a beautiful beach with excellent nearby attractions.
