Access: Train & Bus From Takasaki Station (JR): Take a bus bound for Misato or Ikaho Onsen (approx. 30 minutes). Get off at Misato Bus Depot, transfer to a bus bound for Komayose (approx. 10 minutes), and get off at Sakashita bus stop. A 20-40 minute walk from the Sakashita bus stop. Misato Plum Grove, located in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, is a vast plum grove situated on a hilltop overlooking the Kanto Plain. From late February to late March, it reaches its peak bloom, transforming the landscape into a sea of white plum blossoms. Known as one of the "Gunma Top Three Plum Groves" along with Haruna Plum Grove and Akigama Plum Grove, it's a popular springtime destination. The sheer scale of Misato Plum Grove is truly awe-inspiring. The vast expanse of blooming plum blossoms is a breathtaking sight, bringing peace and joy as you witness the arrival of spring.
