Sakai City Big Bang

Overview

Sakai City Big Bang opened in June 1999 as the Osaka Prefecture Big Bang Children's Center and was transferred to Sakai City in March 2021. After a renovation, it reopened as a valuable playground for children in Sakai City. The center offers various programs designed to stimulate children's imaginations. On the first floor, there's an "Ehon Hiroba" (picture book area) for reading and playing, an "Akachan Hiroba" (baby area), and an "Ikoi Hiroba" (rest area) where you can relax for free. There are also captivating features like an augmented reality (AR) "Trick Art Staircase." The second floor houses an electronic zoo and a creative studio, fostering children's creativity. The rooftop features a "Chotto Ban" adventure playground, offering outdoor fun in a natural setting. Sakai City Big Bang is a space dedicated to nurturing children's curiosity and creativity—a place where learning and play intertwine. It's perfect for a fun-filled family day out!
