Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu is the largest ski resort in the Niseko area. Opened in 1961 as Niseko Hirafu Ski Resort, it has been loved by skiers from Japan and abroad for many years. Its history can be said to have progressed along with the development of Japanese ski culture. The superb powder snow is created by the unique weather conditions of the Niseko area and is also called "Japow," attracting skiers from all over the world. In recent years, the number of tourists from Asia has been increasing, and it continues to develop as a cosmopolitan resort. Inside the ski area, there is the "Nupuri Bell," which was once installed to prevent accidents, and the sound of the bell still rings out, wishing for the safety of Niseko.
