By car, it's about a 28-minute drive from the Ueshige Karuizawa IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway. Head towards Karuizawa Station and turn right at the "Nanbara" intersection on National Route 18. Look for the sign for the "Rekishi Minzoku Shiryokan・Toshokan" (Historical and Folklore Museum & Library) on your left and turn left. The museum will be about 200 meters ahead. Show route
