Ootori Taisha Shrine is an ancient shrine located in Nishi-ku, Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, revered as the Ichi-no-miya of Izumi Province. According to the shrine's traditions, it is said that Yamato Takeru no Mikoto, during his eastern expedition, visited this place and transformed into a white bird, descending here.
