Parking reservations are not required. During peak hours, large buses may be directed to a different parking area (passenger drop-off and pick-up will be at the visitor center). Please follow the instructions of any staff members present.

Yashimagahara Marshland is a 1,670m high plateau marsh located in Shimosuwa-machi, Suwa-gun, Nagano Prefecture. Situated at the southern edge of the Kiso-Fuji highlands, it boasts a vast expanse of wetlands against a backdrop of stunning mountains, offering breathtaking views of alpine plants in bloom throughout the year.
