The Mori Art Museum is located on the 53rd floor of the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, approximately 230 meters above ground. It opened in October 2003 and showcases a wide range of contemporary art, including paintings, sculptures, installations, architecture, and fashion. The Mori Art Museum is known for being at the forefront of art, introducing international contemporary art trends early on.
The museum was designed by Richard Gluckman, who also designed the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York and the Guggenheim Museum in Berlin. This results in a stylish and sophisticated space. The museum also has a café and shop, so you can relax and unwind as well as appreciate art.
The biggest attraction of the Mori Art Museum is undoubtedly the observatory, which offers a panoramic view of Tokyo from a height of approximately 230 meters. You can enjoy the urban scenery while gazing at Tokyo's iconic landmarks such as Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge.
In addition, the Mori Art Museum is located in the Roppongi Hills complex, so you can enjoy a variety of facilities other than the museum, such as restaurants, shops, cinemas, and hotels. You can spend the whole day at Roppongi Hills.
The Mori Art Museum is a special space where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city, experience art, and relax your mind. Be sure to visit.
