The Au Vision Kaikyo Yume Tower, a 153-meter-tall observation tower, has stood as a landmark of the Kanmon Straits since its opening in July 1996. The top floor of its three-story spherical observation deck boasts a height of 143 meters, offering unparalleled views of the majestic Kanmon Straits. From the observation deck, you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama encompassing the Seto Inland Sea, the Kanmon Straits, Ganryu Island, the Kyushu mountain range, and the Hino Nada (Sea of Japan). By day, watch ships traversing the straits and the sparkling sea; by night, marvel at the glittering cityscape. The observation deck also features historical exhibits, allowing you to learn about the Battle of Dan-no-ura and the duel site on Ganryu Island while overlooking these very locations. At night, the tower is beautifully illuminated, enhancing the already stunning night view of the Kanmon Straits area. The tower also includes a "Lovers' Sanctuary" area on a certain floor, offering a romantic setting perfect for commemorative photos.
