Tadamoto Park

Overview

Tadamoto Park is located on a small hill overlooking the city of Isa, Kagoshima Prefecture. The park boasts approximately 2km of stunning cherry blossom trees. During cherry blossom season, you can enjoy the vibrant blossoms under the daytime sky and a magical lantern illumination at night. The cherry blossoms’ contrasting beauty during day and night is truly breathtaking. Selected as one of the "Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots in Japan" in 1990, the park draws large crowds of tourists in the spring. Well-maintained walking paths allow for leisurely strolls amidst the blossoms. During the cherry blossom festival, various events are held, including local markets selling regional specialties. Tadamoto Park is not only famous for its cherry blossoms but also as a place to enjoy nature throughout the year. From spring's cherry blossoms to autumn's foliage, beautiful scenery awaits you. Isa City offers many other attractive sightseeing spots besides Tadamoto Park.
