Sumiyoshi Shrine

Overview

Sumiyoshi Shrine, located in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, enshrines the three Sumiyoshi gods: Sotottsuno-okami, Nakattsuno-okami, and Omottsuno-okami. As the Ichinomiya of Chikuzen Province, it boasts a long history and has been a center of regional faith.
