Overview

Bottle Forest Road is a forest road located in Ino-cho, Agawa District, Kochi Prefecture. Officially known as Ino-cho Bottle-ga-mori Line, it's affectionately called the "UFO Line" by locals. It winds through the Ishizuchi mountain range for approximately 27 kilometers, running along a ridge at an elevation of 1,300 to 1,700 meters. From the car windows, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Ishizuchi mountain range and connect with the majestic nature. In spring, Akebono azaleas bloom in profusion; in summer, the fresh greenery shines vibrantly; and in autumn, the mountains are painted with vibrant fall foliage. You can also enjoy hiking to Bottle-ga-mori and Iyo Fuji, among other mountains in the Ishizuchi mountain range, making this a perfect spot for both driving and trekking. Bottle Forest Road is truly a sky-high drive course! If you want to fully immerse yourself in nature's grandeur, please visit us. Incidentally, the name "UFO Line" comes from rumors that UFOs were once sighted in this area. While no one has actually confirmed seeing a UFO, you can decide for yourself if the rumors hold any truth.
