Oasahiko Shrine, located in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture, is a historic shrine with roots stretching back to the reign of Emperor Jimmu. Legend holds that Emperor Jimmu visited this site during his Eastern Expedition and prayed for victory. Subsequently, it was revered as the most important shrine in Awa Province and continues to hold a central place in the regional faith.
