Dosha Dam

Overview

Located in Aki-takatsuki City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Dosha Dam is a multipurpose dam built on the Eno River. The resulting Yachiyo Lake is renowned as a cherry blossom viewing spot, with approximately 6,000 cherry trees blooming in the spring. The lakeside is painted pink, and at night, the blossoms are illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere. In autumn, the autumn leaves color the lake surface in red and yellow hues, offering breathtaking seasonal scenery. Around the dam lake, you'll find Nodogoe Park, a cycling terminal, and a campground, providing various activities to enjoy in nature. Nodogoe Park offers a grassy area and playground, perfect for families. You can rent bicycles at the cycling terminal and enjoy a lakeside ride. The campground is ideal for barbecues and camping. Furthermore, historical sites such as the Yoshida-Koroyama Castle are located nearby, allowing you to experience both history and nature.
