Okutsukei Gorge is a scenic spot located in Kagamino-cho, Okayama Prefecture. It's a gorge situated on the upper reaches of the Yoshii River (also known as the Okutsugawa River). Designated a Place of Scenic Beauty in 1932, it boasts approximately 3km of diverse and breathtaking scenery.
The allure of Okutsukei Gorge is undoubtedly its beauty. In spring, kobushi, shakunage, and tsutsuji flowers bloom profusely, the fresh green foliage shines, and in summer, the lush greenery deepens, with clear streams creating a cool and refreshing landscape.
