The Sagano Scenic Railway Torokko Train, opened in April 1991, is a sightseeing-only railway connecting Arashiyama and Kameoka. It's a popular tourist spot offering spectacular views of the Hozukyo Gorge. The Torokko train consists of a diesel locomotive and passenger cars, allowing for an open-air experience and breathtaking views of the lush Hozukyo nature. The Hozukyo Gorge features the flowing Katsura River, bordered by verdant mountains.
