Overview

Kiyosenryo is a historic accommodation facility established in 1938, located in the Kiyosato Highland at an altitude of 1,500 meters. Dr. Paul Rush, the founder, sought a location with a view of Mount Fuji, a symbol of Japan, and chose this spot. From Kiyososenryo, you can enjoy a panoramic view of not only Mount Fuji but also the majestic mountains of the Yatsugatake and Minami Alps. Within the Kiyososenryo grounds, there are various accommodations, including a main building with the warmth of wood, a new building with an open feel, and cottages nestled in the forest. The main building, rebuilt in 1957, is a historic building with a calm atmosphere that evokes the warmth of wood. The new building, constructed in 2009, offers a bright and open space. The cottages provide a tranquil setting in the forest, perfect for enjoying private time. At Kiyososenryo's restaurant, you can savor delicious meals, including homemade dishes using local ingredients and rich soft serve ice cream made with milk from Jersey cows raised on the Kiyosato Highland's own farm. The soft serve ice cream, in particular, is a Kiyososenryo specialty loved by many. Kiyosenryo also offers various nature experience programs, including hiking, horseback riding, and stargazing. Hiking allows you to fully enjoy the magnificent natural beauty of the Kiyosato Highland. Horseback riding offers the exhilaration of galloping across the plateau.
