In Minami, known for having the highest number of sunshine hours in Japan, the sunflower field stretches out, backed by the majestic Southern Alps, Yatsugatake Mountains, and Mount Fuji. The breathtaking beauty of the sunflowers against the backdrop of the cool mountain breezes and stunning views of the blue mountains is truly awe-inspiring. The annual "Hokuto City Minami Sunflower Festival" offers a variety of events, including a sunflower maze, photo contests, and live music.
