The Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum opened on March 6, 1994. With the concept of "being able to eat ramen from all over Japan without taking a plane," it's a food theme park that recreates a townscape from 1958. The museum houses famous ramen shops from various regions, offering their signature ramen. In addition to regular shops, limited-time shops also open, so you can always enjoy discovering new flavors. On the first floor, there are exhibitions about ramen and a museum shop. In the basement, there's a retro candy store and a cafe, allowing you to fully enjoy the retro Showa atmosphere. It's a spot that ramen lovers and families alike can enjoy. In 2019, the experience area was expanded, and a bamboo-kneading noodle-making experience was launched. It continues to evolve into a facility where you can experience ramen as a part of Japanese food culture more deeply.
