Mobara Park

Overview

Mobara Park is a large urban park (comprehensive park) in Mobara City, Chiba Prefecture. Centered around Benten Lake, the expansive grounds feature cherry tree groves, a plum orchard, an observation deck, a playground, and more. During the spring cherry blossom season, approximately 2850 cherry trees burst into bloom, creating a breathtaking spectacle. The "Mobara Cherry Blossom Festival" is held from late March to early April, with nighttime illuminations. The Benten-do Hall floating on Benten Lake and the surrounding cherry trees create a magical atmosphere at night, captivating numerous visitors. Beyond the cherry blossoms, the plum orchard boasts vibrant red and white plum blossoms from late February to early March, heralding the arrival of spring. A variety of flowers bloom throughout the year, ensuring beautiful scenery year-round. The observation deck offers panoramic views of the park, Mobara City, and even the distant Kujukuri Beach, providing a breathtaking vista.
