INFO
The park is largely barrier-free, with ramps and other features designed to ensure easy wheelchair access.
Funabashi Andersen Park is a theme park that recreates the world of Hans Christian Andersen, the famous Danish storyteller. Within the park, you'll find windmills, farmhouses, a statue of Andersen, a fairy tale museum, and more, all bringing Andersen's tales to life. The park also boasts a wealth of attractions for children, including athletic play areas, animal encounters, and a mini-train.
The Märchen Hill zone features an authentic Danish-style windmill, still used to grind wheat for bread-making. At its opening, the park gained attention for having Japan's first ever "windmill keeper."
Other highlights in this zone include a community center, boathouse, Sun Pond, event plaza, farmhouse, Andersen statue, fairy tale museum, and the Sun Bridge.
The Nature Experience zone offers a chance to connect with nature at the Satoyama (rural landscape) waterfront.
The Children's Museum zone includes the Children's Museum, an open-air theater, and a subterranean museum.
The Flower Castle zone features a "Tokage Net" (lizard net climbing structure), a kids' house, and the Flower Castle Rest House.
Off-site facilities include a dog run.
Funabashi Andersen Park is a park that offers enjoyment for both children and adults. Spend a whole day immersing yourselves in the world of Andersen!
