The Hodosan Ropeway is a ropeway located in Nagatoro-machi, Chichibu District, Saitama Prefecture, leading to the summit of Mount Hodosan (Hodosan), which stands at 497 meters above sea level.
Nagatoro is a well-known tourist destination featuring stunning rock formations and gorges carved by the Arakawa River over many years, and Mount Hodosan is considered a symbol of Nagatoro.

Two gondolas (with a capacity of 50 people each) operate using a four-wire circulating system, moving between the summit and base stations.
The ride to the summit takes about 5 minutes.
